A meeting was held on 6th March in Dorchester to welcome former T&G members, and to encourage members to have their say on matters affecting them - particularly members in the West of Dorset.

Now that UNISON has become the only union recognised by the trust, this was seen as an important opportunity for members of both unions. Items on the agenda also included the current hot issues of unsocial hours, ECA training, Paramedic opportunities, meal breaks and management approach.

Turnout on the night can only be described as very disappointing indeed. No members from the T&G turned up. Those few UNISON that did turn up had travelled from the East of the county.
