Following constructive discussions between UNISON representatives and management,
important changes
have been agreed to the Interim rest break arrangements in the Dorset area of
the trust.
UNISON representatives in Dorset have been listening to the views of UNISON
members for some time now and have taken concerns to management in the hope of
improving the arrangements which currently exist.
The result is a few key changes to the interim arrangements. The key changes
include a reminder that staff are entitled to insist on an unpaid, uninterupted break in accordance with agenda for change terms, and a
time window during which control can
actively allocate a break.
