Twenty executive members of the branch met in Taunton on 6th December for the latest South Western Ambulance Branch Executive meeting.

There was lots to discuss from a packed agenda - including Meal breaks, the trust's recognition agreement and disciplinary policy, education funding, Technician banding, future recruitment/training plans, representation and support with the HPC, proposals being discussed by the National ambulance Forum, and many other important issues.

In addition, Ken Pearson, South West regional UNISON officer came to talk about foundation NHS trusts and the future of ambulance trusts with the Agenda For Change.
